We all know we should be more active than we are - we get reminded of it often enough. With daily news stories about rising obesity levels and the health problems associated, it's easy to see the benefits of changing our lifestyle.

The answer is to get more active. There is scientific proof that taking part in a challenging event gives you the motivation to increase your activity levels. Taking exercise shouldn't be a chore - there is plenty of evidence to suggest that the best results are achieved when people take part in an activity that they find fun.

So take your first step

It's as simple as that. Choose your activity and the Take to the Streets team will give you everything you need to take part, get involved, and get fit - all for free. From helping you find an event to take part in, to support during your training and advice throughout your preparation. It doesn't matter how much experience you have or what your current level of fitness it - there's something for all abilities and ages.
